On the surface, sweat may seem unappealing, but it’s genuinely one of our superpowers! This lecture will discuss the fascinating science behind perspiration, a brief history of the human love of sweating, and the benefits you can derive from sauna bathing. We will also dispel some of the common misconceptions involving sweat. Near the end of the lecture, we will head into the sauna to continue our discussion and get the sweat rolling.
