Black Balsam Knob (Moderate) |

Black Balsam Knob via Art Loeb Trail is a 1.5 mile moderately trafficked out-and-back trail located near Canton, North Carolina that features beautiful wildflowers in the spring and great views year round. This trail is about an hour from campus, located directly by graveyard fields. This trail is a rock face, uphill trail that crests at a 360 degree view. Dogs are able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. |

This class is strength and stability-based and also incorporates great mobility. One of the healthiest ways you can strengthen your muscle fibers is through a slow, stabilizing resistance. |
Breathe + Flow |

A class focused on connecting more deeply with the breath, in Breathe and Flow we will work with the four components of the breath within the postures. Through breath work, incorporating breath ratios, breath counts, and inhale/exhale techniques, you will better understand the importance and benefits of the breath in the practice of Yoga. |

Bridal Veil Falls (Moderate) |

Bridal Veil Falls is a 3.5 mile, highly trafficked trail located near Cedar Mountain, NC that features a waterfall. This waterfall is the location where a scene from Last of the Mohicans was filmed. This trail has a drive time of 40 minutes. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primarily used for hiking, trail running, horses, and mountain biking. Dogs and horses are also able to use this trail. |

Dupont State Forest is an outdoor lover’s dream! This hike includes three different waterfalls in one hike. This is a six-mile hike with a moderate grade. The trail is well maintained and follows the scenic little river. This trail has a 40 minute drive time. |

The experience culminates in a tea ceremony featuring a foraged infusion of local plants. This walk takes place in Pisgah National Forest, a 30-minute drive from campus. The only thing you need to bring is an open heart and an open mind. All are welcome. |

It’s not every day that you get to float down a river in a tube! This relaxing, guided float trip takes about 45-60 minutes to complete with no skill or experience required. |

Take an 8-mile float down the 3rd oldest river in the world! Choose between a 2-person canoe or a sit-on-top kayak. The river does have some faster spots, but overall this is a gentle float and a very relaxing way to see the mountains. |

With simple breathing exercises and mindful meditation, you will leave your mat energized and relaxed. This class is appropriate to all levels. |
Sliding Rock |

Sliding Rock is a natural waterslide located on Looking Glass Creek in Pisgah National Forest. This waterfall streams over broad, smooth rocks that you can sit on and slide down. It has a gentle slope and is about 60 feet long, ending in a large, deep pool (between six and seven feet deep) at the bottom. Lifeguards are on duty since this area is popular with visitors of all ages. |

One of Skyterra’s spiciest fitness classes, this class includes only six movements. Each participant completes two movements at a time finishing as many reps as possible in six minutes. |
Soul Collage |

Soul Collage is an experiential art process connecting you to your inner wisdom. It is a way of being artistically creative and exploring the personal meaning of the art that you create. Turn off your inner critic, turn on your inner child and play! The process is meditative. It is best done simply and without intention. It is always more than you think it will be and the cards always turn out amazing! You are able to take your art home as a special keepsake from your Skyterra experience. |

Stone Mountain (Difficult) |

Stone Mountain is the highest point in the DuPont State Recreational Forest at 3,620 feet. This lightly trafficked hike is a strenuous 5-mile out-and-back trail located at the top corner of the forest. Elevation gain on this hike is 1100 feet. The summit of this hike allows for 180 degree views in the spring and summer, and 360 degree views in the fall and winter. This trail has a drive time of 25 minutes. |

This fitness class targets three areas that are crucial to our physical health. We cover a full body strength routine while incorporating balance and core work. This class is slow-paced, easy to follow, modify, or intensify. |

There is so much information out there about stress. Stress Redefined identifies practical means to achieving stress reduction through a personalized approach to everyday living. Stress reduction is achievable and in this class participants will understand the body’s physiological state when it is overexposed to stress, as well as how to cope with many forms of stressors. |

The focus of this seminar is sugar, added sugar and all things sweet. You’ll walk away with new strategies and meal ideas. |
Sunrise Yoga |

Practice facing to the east to honor and greet the sun and a new day through breath, simple movements and body awareness. This class is 30 minutes and highlights ways to bring a morning yoga practice home with you. |
Tabata Strong ! |

Created by Dr. Izumi Tabata, this style of exercise packs a large amount of work into a short period of time and has proven results in terms of weight loss. You will focus on each exercise for 8 rounds with a :20 second active period and a :10 rest period. This provides a challenging workout that is both aerobic and anaerobic in nature. |

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art dating back to the 16th century. This low-impact, self-paced martial art is practiced for both self-defense training, and for its health benefits. You will learn a basic Tai Chi form consisting of several moves that target basic balance and breath work. |
The Science of Sweat |

On the surface, sweat may seem unappealing, but it’s genuinely one of our superpowers! This lecture will discuss the fascinating science behind perspiration, a brief history of the human love of sweating, and the benefits you can derive from sauna bathing. We will also dispel some of the common misconceptions involving sweat. Near the end of the lecture, we will head into the sauna to continue our discussion and get the sweat rolling. Bring your water for this one cause it’s going to be hot! |

In this class, we’ll hone in on a different joint/region of the body and/or address common diseases and health conditions and learn how to utilize gentle movements and yoga techniques as a complementary system. Techniques include movement, breathing exercises, meditation practices, visualization, concentration and chanting. |

Triple/High Falls Trail (Moderate) |
|
Triple/High Falls Trail is a 4.4 mile heavily-trafficked loop located near Hendersonville, North Carolina. This hike features two breathtaking waterfalls. Triple Falls consists of three amazing cascades within 300 yards. High Falls is a 150-foot waterfall and is the largest waterfall in Dupont State Forest. This trail is rated as moderate with a drive time of 20 minutes and an elevation gain of almost 500 feet. The trail offers several different types of terrains and is accessible year-round. Dogs are able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. |

This fitness class uses TRX bands to produce strength and increased. TRX bands are great for any level of fitness, and this class combines compound movements to encourage strength while also increasing and promoting mobility through joint stabilization. |
