Culinary Demo 4: Healthy Snacks

In this section we teach you how to make nourishing snacks from your home kitchen, like the recipe below.

Hike Bites: These healthy snacks are a staple at Skyterra Wellness.

Step 1: Collect your ingredients and a food processor.

Step 2: Start with equal parts of cashews, peanuts, dried pitted dates and apricots. 

Step 3: Place into the food processor and pulse until you have a consistent but coarse texture with the mixture.

Step 4: Add personal flavors to customize your hike bites (chocolate, sea salt, chia seeds, cinnamon, agave, etc.) then continue to pulse the food processor.

Step 5: Place about 1oz. of the mixture into your hand and squeeze. If the mixture forms a ball without falling apart, enjoy. If it falls apart add honey or agave till it can be formed.
