Nutrition Awareness Journal
Purpose: Writing down what you eat while at Skyterra can provide you with valuable information. Take a moment to reflect back on what you are consuming on a daily basis.
Action: To make the most out of this journal, record the following:
- What you eat each day. (e.g., breakfast: avocado toast with two eggs and sauteed vegetables)
- Use the Hunger and Fullness Scale throughout your stay. See below the journals to find the scale. (e.g., lunch: 4 before, 8 after)
- Mood around your meal times. (e.g., dinner: tired and grateful)
Note: Tracking nutrition can be overwhelming, so start with tracking only three days a week. Consider taking photos of your meal plates and our menu boards. These photos can serve as inspiration and a reminder to what portions, flavors and foods you were provided during your stay that supported your feeling of feeling both fueled and satisfied. Both are important concepts to take home.
