Ignite and Inspire: Eight Weeks to Elevate Your Life

Week Four: Reflect, Rest, Refocus

Week Four Introduction

Welcome to week number four of Ignite and Inspire: Eight Weeks to Elevate Your Life. This week is deeply nourishing and relatively gentle, as a way to honor the importance of allowing space in your life to slow down, to rest and to assimilate your experiences.

Take a moment to look back at the intentions and goals from week one and ponder your progress so far. The journal prompts for this week catch the tailwind of last week’s gratitude prompts and invite you to get curious about what brings you true happiness in your life.

A glimpse into this week’s lineup: a 20-minute customizable walk with Jeff accented with interval training, a guided meditation with yours truly, and recipes for a delicious greek salad with grilled chicken and homemade salad dressing.

Assignment One: Fitness

Take a walk with Jeff either on a treadmill, a walk outside or hop on your rower! This workout is 20 minutes long and offers interval training, moving through exercise and rest.

Assignment Two: Culinary/Nutrition

Chef Michael walks you step by step through preparing a delicious Greek salad topped with grilled chicken and homemade dressing. Allow two hours for the chicken to marinate before serving with the salad.

Assignment Three: Stress Management

Take just under seven minutes to meditate with Lyndsey. This meditation continues to draw awareness deeper into the sensations of the body through the simple focal point of breath awareness. Take time to unwind and connect with your body and your breath.

Week Four Final Thoughts

Return to your journal prompts from week one to simply check in. How are you doing? How is your progress? Any fine-tuning needed?

Finish the following sentence: “I feel happiest in my skin and most at home in my body when…”. Tap into a flow of consciousness and let your pen flow for at least eight minutes.
