Health Screening Information

The morning of your first full day begins before breakfast with a health screening. A wellness coach will meet you in the lobby then lead you through two stations for a blood pressure check, body composition analysis and a mobility screening.

The health screening allows us to get to know you so we can best support you during your stay. Screenings are completed so you can be aware of your baseline values, and so each professional can best support you during your stay. While not mandatory, we do recommend you attend so you can track progress toward your goals.


  • No food or drink (except water and medications) prior to your arrival screening in order to capture accurate baseline values
  • Wear comfortable/athletic clothing and arrive five to 10 minutes prior to your screening time
  • Drink 4-6 oz. of water prior to your screening
  • Screening components include:
    • Blood pressure/resting heart rate
    • InBody Machine measurements:
      • Weight
      • Body fat percentage
      • Skeletal muscle mass
      • Visceral fat
      • BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate)
    • Grip Strength Assessment
    • Functional Movement/Mobility Assessment.

Departure Screenings and Weekly Follow-Up Screenings 

If you desire a departure screening or are staying over and would like a weekly follow-up screening, it will take place in the private room next to the Cardio Zone on Saturday mornings between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. You may sign up for a screening time at the Front Desk. We recommend you attend Composition Clarity at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays. During this class, you will be able to review your screening results to gain a better understanding of the InBody results and your personal progress. 

InBody App

If you are interested in tracking body composition changes during and after your stay with us, please download InBody’s free phone app “InBody” BEFORE the screening on Monday morning. Once you download the app you’ll need to create a free account. Upon screening with our InBody machine to learn about your body composition, you’ll have the chance to scan a QR code that appears on our machine. Results from your InBody scan will download within your app and then be accessible at any time through the app.

For departure screenings, you will also have the opportunity to scan in your results to your app from our machine with a QR code that appears. If you were to access an InBody machine after you leave Skyterra, as long as a QR code is available upon screening with that machine or your phone number is able to be logged in, that scan’s results should also sync up with the app as well.
