Meals

Our culinary team prepares each meal specifically for you. This means we honor your allergies and intolerances as listed on your intake form. Speak up if you have concerns about a meal you are served. Here’s how the meals work:

  • Breakfast is cooked to order. Please choose any seat in the dining room between 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and our server will promptly take your order.
  • Your lunch and dinner orders will be accepted at breakfast and by our Guest Services team member at the front desk until 10:30 a.m. each morning. Please make sure to place your order; otherwise you will be served the standard protein and starter at each meal.
  • If you do not wish to eat in the dining room and would like to pick up your meal or have your meal delivered to your lodge or cottage, we ask that you make a note of this on your meal ticket or inform a member of the Culinary or Guest Services team at a minimum of two hours prior to meal service. You are welcome to pick up your meal between the following times:
    • Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
    • Lunch: Noon to 1 p.m.
    • Dinner: 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Alcohol
    • Some Skyterra guests are choosing sobriety during their visit. We ask you to refrain from bringing alcohol into the main building and dining area.

Consider Your Individual Nutritional Needs

At Skyterra we strive to meet guests’ individual nutritional needs. We do so by utilizing data from our body composition analyzer (InBody). Through this scan, we obtain guest Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), the amount of fuel your body needs to accomplish most basic life-sustaining functions. Our Registered Dietitian and Culinary Team adjust portion sizes to better support each guest during their stay to ensure that guests do not fall short at meeting this energy need. Both our Registered Dietitian and Culinary Team work to serve meals and provide snacks that support the Skyterra Way.

Meals served at Skyterra follow the Skyterra Plate, a philosophy that can easily be replicated in one’s own kitchen. When planning and preparing meals and snacks, consider the use of the Skyterra Plate to better support your efforts at building a balanced meal.
