Ingredients:
4 each Apples, local, core removed
4 each Cinnamon sticks
4 T. Maple syrup, 100% pure
1 ¼ T. Unsalted butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Remove core from apple using coring device. Leave ¼ of the apple in tact at the bottom.
- Slice off the top of the apple.
- Place the apples in a small baking dish.
- Insert the cinnamon stick into to hole in which the core was originally.
- Pour 1 T. of maple syrup on top of the apple to coat – some can pour into the middle of the apple.
- Add ¼ T. of butter inside each of the apple (next to the cinnamon stick).
- Bake 12-15 minutes until tender. Enjoy!
