Ingredients:
½ cup Blueberries, fresh
¼ cup Red wine vinegar
1 T. Honey, local if possible
½ cup Extra virgin olive oil or oil of choice (e.g., grapeseed oil)
¼ tsp. Salt
pinch Black pepper
for thinning Water
Directions:
Food Processor:
- Place all ingredients but the oil and water into the processor.
- Turn processor on and let everything blend together.
- Slowly add your oil to emulsify dressing.
- Adjust taste with the salt, pepper and honey.
- Add water if the dressing is too thick to pour.
Blender:
- Place all ingredients but the oil and water into the blender.
- Turn processor on and let everything blend together.
- Slowly add your oil to emulsify dressing.
- Adjust taste with the salt, pepper and honey.
- Add water if the dressing is too thick to pour.
Hand Blender:
- Place all ingredients but the oil and water into a container.
- Put Hand Blender into product and turn it on, let everything blend together. (Make sure the blade is completely emerged into the product)
- Slowly add your oil to emulsify dressing.
- Adjust taste with the salt, pepper and honey.
- Add water if the dressing is too thick to pour.
