Ingredients
- 2 each Wooden skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- ¼ cup Olive oil
- 2 T. Orange juice, 100%
- 1 T. Apple cider vinegar
- 1 T. Honey, local
- ½ tsp. Paprika, ground
- ¼ tsp. Kosher salt
- 8-10 each Raw shrimp cleaned peeled and deveined
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes. This prevents your wood from catching on fire and is essential to do.
- In a mason jar or mixing bowl, combine all wet ingredients until stirred well.
- Add shrimp to the marinade and let rest for at least 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat a grill to medium high heat.
- Add shrimp to skewers, 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
- Fold two large pieces of foil into 4-5 fold-thick pieces. Place these on the grill, the distance between the ends of the skewers.
- Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
- Add shrimp to the grill, the ends of the skewers touching the foil and the shrimp touching the grill.
- Grill shrimp on each side for 1 ½ to 2 minutes, ensuring you create grill marks. Enjoy with your favorite sides.
