Ingredients:
2 cups almond milk, unsweetened
3 T cocoa powder
2 T pure maple syrup
½ tsp vanilla extract
⅛ tsp peppermint extract
Directions:
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla and peppermint extract. Whisk well to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then taste and adjust as needed.
- Serve warm, with optional coconut whipped cream and crushed candy canes or a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top, if desired!
