Raspberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Servings: 1 dozen

Skill Level:  Beginner

Total Time:  20-30 minutes  

 

Ingredients:

¾ cup butter, melted

1 cup brown sugar

½ cup granulated sugar

1 egg + 1 yolk 2 eggs (1 divided) 

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all purpose flour 

¾ tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 ⅓ cup chocolate chips, semisweet or dark

½ cup frozen raspberries

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well combined. 
  3. Mix/sift in dry ingredients – all purpose flour, baking soda and salt. 
  4. Fold in chocolate. 
  5. Add berries and don’t overmix. 
  6. Scoop into cookies, about 2 T. each. 
  7. Baking for 10-11 minutes or until done. 
  8. Enjoy!
